Blackpink's Rose and '16 Years Older' Actor Kang Dong Won: 4 Proofs of Love? 


Blackpink member Rose and actor Kang Dong-won are rumored to be dating. 



A post titled "Evidence proving that Kang Dong Won and Rose are in a relationship" appeared on an online community in South Korea. 


'First evidence'

The author claimed that the two were in a relationship and presented the first piece of evidence as a necklace and coat they wore together.  

The published photo shows the two wearing necklaces with what appears to be the same design. Two necklaces are visible, both by John Elliot.


'Second evidence'

For the second time, the author claimed that the two were spotted at the same location. The location is Frieze Seoul, the first art fair in Asia to be held at COEX in Seoul in 2022. 


'Third evidence'

The third piece of evidence is people who know both of them. The author posted a photo of Kang with Eva Chow, a Korean-American who is widely recognized as a global fashion influencer. 

"Kang Dong-won is a longtime friend of Eva Chow, and Rose probably became close to Eva Chow through Kang Dong-won," the author wrote.

They also pointed to actress Yoon Yeo-jung and Japanese singer-songwriter Yoshiki as people with whom the two were acquainted. 


'Fourth evidence'

The fourth piece of evidence is the alleged connection between the two to the Coldplay song "VIva La Vida. 

On February 11, 2022, Rose posted a video on his YouTube channel of himself singing along to the guitar strains of "VIva La Vida. 

The author noted that the video was tagged with "#VIva La Vida" on a "monotube" that hosts celebrity vlogs.
