'Drug Allegations' Yoo Ah In: How Much Is His Advertising Fee? At Least 10 Billion Won

Actor Yoo Ah-in, who was investigated by the police for allegedly taking drugs, has apologized once again, and attention has been focused on his advertising penalty.

On March 28, Yoo Ah In posted an apology on Instagram, saying, "I apologized for not being able to apologize enough right after the police investigation yesterday. I apologize once again for the great disappointment I caused to many people who loved and cared about me due to the unsavory incident," he said.

"To those who have worked with me on valuable projects such as movies, dramas, and commercials, I apologize for the apology I could not deliver yesterday," he continued, "I deeply reflect on the moments when I held on to heavy responsibilities irresponsibly, and I am sorry for the damage I caused to countless colleagues and stakeholders who were trying to fulfill their own precious dreams and goals. I will endeavor to fulfill my responsibilities," he wrote.

Yoo Ah In also apologized, saying, "Many people supported me and gave me unreserved encouragement and affection, and I feel great regret and shame that I was harming myself while continuing my acting career." He added, "I also caused great hurt to many people through such wrongdoing, and I apologize."

"In the aftermath of the incident and during a period of inadequate reflection, it became clear to me that my actions were wrong and could not be covered by any excuse," he said, adding, "The self-justifications I brought to the table were wrong and could never cover up my foolish choices."

In closing, Yoo said, "I will work diligently in the upcoming investigation and accept all of your criticisms and the judgment of the law. Once again, I deeply apologize," he added.

Along with this, there are observations that Yoo Ah-in will also suffer great losses in terms of money.

Yoo has reportedly modeled for more than 10 brands, including clothing and medicine. She also models for a Chinese apparel company. Yoo's annual modeling fee is said to be in the range of 800 million to 900 million won, and based on previous cases, the penalty that Yoo will have to pay to advertisers if the case is not settled will be more than 10 billion won.
