BTS Jungkook demolishes Itaewon-dong 76 billion won house and builds '3-story mansion'





BTS member Jungkook is demolishing his Itaewon-dong home, which he purchased in 2020, to build a three-story mansion with two basements and three floors.


Jungkook received a building permit for the new single-family home from Yongsan-gu Office in July last year. Jungkook had previously purchased a house in Itaewon-dong for 7.63 billion won in December 2020.


The detached house that Jungkook is building is reportedly a 1161.04 square meter mansion. The land area is 633.05 square meters and the building area is 348.05 square meters. The foundation is currently under construction, and the estimated completion date is May 31, 2024.


Itaewon-dong, where Jungkook is building his mansion, is a wealthy neighborhood that has been called the "Korean version of Beverly Hills. 


After purchasing the Itaewon-dong home, Jungkook gifted his 4 billion won apartment in Yongsan-gu to his brother.
